The Benefits of Juice

As the fruit experts, our mission is to ensure fresh tasting juice is available to everyone. But beyond the taste, a glass of juice can bring a variety of health benefits. We hope to bring an informed view of these benefits, and the misconceptions of Juice.

Juice & Sugar

We never add sugar

Our 100% fruit juice does not contain any added sugar – every bit of sweetness comes naturally and directly from the fruit themselves. But moderation is key - it's important to consume it in moderation as part of a balanced diet, keeping within the recommended 150ml per day.

The sugar spike myth

Sugars in fruit juice can be a bit confusing, especially when it comes to their impact on blood sugar. But fruit juice does not significantly raise blood glucose levels. How do we know this? The GI (glycaemic index) is a standard measure that determines how quickly carbohydrates in food affect blood sugar levels and fruit juice has a low GI rating. For example, a 150ml serving of orange juice has a GI of 50–52. Foods with a GI under 55 are categorized as having a low GI rating.

Getting your nutrition essentials
